SADD club members at Deer Park High School , which include student athletes, raised $550 for Suffolk County veterans with an April 19 raffle held at the Texas Roadhouse in Deer Park. Ten percent of patrons’ food bills were also donated with the presentation of a special flier. The club, led by adviser Janet Werner, presented a check to the veterans on June 4.
SADD VETS: Deer Park High School’s SADD club teamed up with the local Texas Roadhouse to raise $550 for Suffolk County veterans with a raffle event.
