In a heartfelt display of support, both the JV and Varsity softball teams at Massapequa High School recently held a dedication game for Morgan’s Message. A total of 36 girls from both teams participated, coming together to honor this important cause.
From the meticulous preparation to the game itself, approximately 10 hours were devoted to commemorating Morgan’s Message. This foundation holds a special place in the hearts of the softball program, marking the third consecutive year that their charity game has been dedicated to supporting its mission.
Leading up to the event, players and coaches alike engaged in various activities to raise awareness. Baking goods, crafting signs, and adorning the school with posters were just some of the ways they prepared. Additionally, the teams created stickers and hair bows to be worn during the game, adding a personal touch to their show of solidarity. Leveraging the power of social media, the girls diligently promoted the game, ensuring a strong turnout and widespread support for Morgan’s Message.
