About:
The complete team, comprising nine team members along with Coach Pettengill, worked collaboratively to carve a total of 12 pumpkins specifically intended for the Rotary walk. These pumpkins were gathered at the turf field, serving as a central pickup location for both the Tennis and Soccer teams.
The time allocated for carving varied among team members, with some dedicating approximately 2 hours to the task, while others spent closer to 3 hours. The variation depended on the intricacy of their chosen pumpkin designs.
Traditionally, the coach has been responsible for procuring pumpkins every year for the carving activity. However, this year marked a change in tradition as the coach became aware of the pumpkin walk event. This prompted the team to shift away from their usual practice of individually purchasing and carving pumpkins, opting instead to contribute to this meaningful community event.
