About:
On December 17, the girls hockey team turned a night at the rink into an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by hosting a Hockey Fights Cancer game—demonstrating the power of athletics to unite a community around an important cause.
Through their efforts, the team helped raise awareness and show support for those affected by cancer, reinforcing the message that sports can be a platform for compassion, advocacy, and action. From promoting the game to engaging fans and supporting the cause on game night, the girls hockey players played an active role in making the event both meaningful and memorable.
Hockey Fights Cancer is a league-wide initiative dedicated to supporting cancer research, patient care, and awareness. By participating in this campaign, the girls hockey team used their voices and visibility to stand with individuals and families impacted by cancer—on and off the ice.
