The Uxbridge High School Student-Athlete Ambassadors are stepping up to make a difference—organizing a Spring Sports Equipment Drive to support local youth in their community.
Partnering with the Blackstone Valley Boys & Girls Club, the initiative aims to provide gently used sports equipment to young athletes who may not otherwise have access to the gear they need to play.
Giving the Gift of Sport
From April 6th through April 17th, students and community members are encouraged to donate items such as:
- Balls
- Cleats
- Bats
- Helmets
- And more
All donations can be dropped off in the collection box located in front of the high school, making it easy for the community to get involved.
Student Leadership in Action
This effort highlights the leadership and initiative of Uxbridge’s Student-Athlete Ambassadors, who are using their platform to ensure that more kids have the opportunity to participate in sports.
By organizing this drive, they are not only collecting equipment—they are helping remove barriers, promote inclusion, and inspire the next generation of athletes.
More Than a Game
