Cheerleaders Walk Together for a Cause
The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk brings together individuals, families, organizations, and community groups to support people affected by breast cancer while raising funds for the American Cancer Society.
By participating in the Jones Beach event, the Candlewood Cheerleading Team helped bring attention to an important cause while demonstrating compassion and support for individuals and families facing the disease.
The event provided an opportunity for the cheerleaders to work together outside their regular athletic activities, reinforcing the importance of teamwork, kindness, and community involvement.
Mila Molino Leads the Way in Fundraising
One of the highlights of Candlewood’s participation was the outstanding fundraising effort of Mila Molino, who earned recognition as the team’s top fundraiser.
Through her dedication and generosity, Mila raised more than $600 in support of the fight against breast cancer.
Her achievement demonstrated how individual initiative can inspire meaningful change and contribute to a larger community effort.
Mila’s leadership, along with the involvement of her teammates, helped showcase the commitment of Candlewood’s young athletes to supporting causes that extend far beyond their school.
