About:
The gym was filled with energy and purpose as Agawam High School hosted a Morgan’s Message Game, bringing the community together for more than just basketball.
As Agawam took on Chicopee Comprehensive High School, the night served as an important platform to raise awareness for student-athlete mental health. Through their participation in Morgan’s Message, the program helped shine a light on the importance of mental well-being and encouraged open conversations among athletes, students, and fans.
While the matchup tipped off at 7 p.m., the impact of the event extended far beyond the game itself. Events like these continue to remind athletes that they are supported both on and off the court—and that mental health matters just as much as physical performance.
Inspired by the legacy of Morgan Rodgers, Morgan’s Message games across the country are helping to build a culture of understanding, support, and connection within athletics.
At Agawam, it was a night where competition met compassion—proving once again that sports can be a powerful force for change.
