About:
The Agawam Lacrosse program continues to make an impact beyond game day by investing in the next generation of players through a recent youth clinic that brought energy, learning, and leadership to the field.
Young athletes from the community came out eager to improve their skills, and the high school players stepped up—leading drills, offering encouragement, and creating a positive environment focused on growth and development. The clinic wasn’t just about fundamentals; it was about building confidence, fostering connections, and strengthening the future of the program.
A special highlight of the day was the recognition of effort and attitude. Liam Grealis was awarded the team’s “Grit Stick” for the week, while RJ and Gianni were also recognized for demonstrating outstanding grit during the clinic—embodying the mindset and determination the program values.
Moments like these show how teams can create lasting impact by mentoring younger athletes and reinforcing the importance of hard work, perseverance, and community.
Thank you to all the youth players who came out and to the Agawam Lacrosse program for continuing to lead the way in building something bigger than the game.
