Recently, the girls lacrosse teams from AHS and Foxboro came together for a meaningful and impactful game titled “Taking a Shot at Mental Health.” This special event was part of the Morgan’s Message initiative, aimed at raising awareness about mental health challenges faced by student-athletes and promoting wellness within school communities.
Both teams showcased incredible athleticism on the field, but more importantly, they demonstrated leadership off the field by using their platform to start important conversations around mental health. Events like this highlight the vital role that sports play in building supportive communities where athletes feel empowered to speak openly about mental wellness.
