On Saturday, May 4, the Web Golden Canes Club hosted the “All for Aubrey” Pickleball Tournament at The Barn to support 10-year-old Aubrey, who is battling acute myeloid leukemia. This year, the tournament was exclusively for students, but they plan to open it to the entire community next year to raise funds for organizations dedicated to fighting childhood cancer.
They were fortunate to receive generous donations from families and friends for their raffle. Special thanks go to Barry and his team at The Barn for their kindness and generosity in providing the facility. Over 40 students participated, and together they raised over $1,200, all of which will be donated to Aubrey’s family.
The video features Charlotte Dermody, president of the Golden Canes, and senior Melina Pinonsek, who organized and brought this wonderful idea to life.
