About:
The Austin Prep Boys Hockey team stepped up to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others by partnering with Connor’s Kindness Project to assemble Kindness Kits for hospitalized children.
During the service project, student-athletes worked side by side to prepare boxes filled with thoughtful items designed to bring comfort, joy, and encouragement to children facing medical challenges. Each Kindness Kit included items such as toys, coloring books, stickers, games, and other activities meant to help brighten hospital stays and put smiles on young faces.
This initiative reflects the core values of compassion, teamwork, and service that define the Austin Prep Boys Hockey program beyond competition on the ice. By dedicating their time and energy to supporting children in need, the team demonstrated how student-athletes can use their platform to create positive and lasting impact within their community.
Efforts like this highlight the true spirit of leadership—showing that success is measured not only by wins and losses, but by the ability to uplift others and lead with empathy. Through their partnership with Connor’s Kindness Project, Austin Prep Boys Hockey reminded everyone that even small acts of kindness can make a powerful difference.
