About:
We had over 60 Athletes participating in the event, players from our Varsity and JV soccer programs both on the boys and girls teams.
Our athletes took turns collecting donations, they also managed a concession stand with all proceeds going to Tunnels for Towers.
They put probably 20 hours of planning into the event, making signs organizing concessions, we also had a honor guard from the Fire Department, and our JR ROTC at both games that they helped organize.
Our school and teams have players who live on Hanscom Air Force Base and are active military families we also had a student whose uncle was a first responder on 9/11 in NYC who recently passed away from cancer related to 9/11
