About:
Field Hockey helped bring purpose beyond the game with a powerful Breast Cancer Awareness Night, encouraging the entire community to come together in support of an important cause.
As the girls team took on Swampscott at home, the message was clear—wear pink and stand united. From the stands to the sidelines, the event created a sea of pink, raising awareness and showing support for those affected by breast cancer.
Events like this go far beyond competition. They provide student-athletes and fans the opportunity to use their platform to educate, inspire, and make a difference. By organizing and promoting the awareness game, the Fansquad played a key role in driving community engagement and reinforcing the impact of school spirit when it’s tied to a meaningful cause.
This night served as a reminder that athletics can be a powerful vehicle for advocacy, unity, and compassion.
