About:
BMHS Boys Basketball continues to show that the game is about more than what happens on the scoreboard, using two special nights to honor service, raise awareness, and bring the community together.
On Military Appreciation Night, fans packed the gym as BMHS took on Roxbury Prep, showing gratitude for those who serve our country. Supporters were encouraged to wear camo-themed gear, creating a powerful visual tribute to the men and women who protect our freedoms. The night served as a reminder of the respect and appreciation owed to military families within the community and beyond.
The week continues with another meaningful event as BMHS Boys Basketball hosts its 2nd Annual Blackout Cancer Game against Methuen. Fans are invited to come out, wear black, and stand united in support of those impacted by cancer. Proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society, helping fund research, support services, and advocacy efforts in the fight against cancer.
Together, these events highlight the program’s commitment to leadership, service, and using athletics as a platform for positive impact.
