About:
It was more than just game day for the girls lacrosse team at Canton High School—it was an opportunity to lead with purpose.
Hosting a Morgan’s Message Dedication Game against Braintree High School, the team brought attention to the importance of mental health among student-athletes. The event created a meaningful platform to encourage conversations, support one another, and remind everyone in attendance that mental well-being matters.
Through their involvement with Morgan’s Message, Canton’s athletes helped shine a light on the growing movement to break the stigma surrounding mental health in sports. From the opening draw to the final whistle, the focus extended far beyond the scoreboard.
Inspired by the legacy of Morgan Rodgers, dedication games like this continue to empower student-athletes to support one another and foster a culture of care within their teams and communities.
Canton’s leadership on and off the field is a powerful reminder that athletics can be a platform for connection, compassion, and change.
