About:
The Catholic Memorial School community once again demonstrated the true power of unity, compassion, and leadership through its annual “Sea of Red” initiative at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Boston.
With over 200 CM boys proudly walking in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer, the event was filled with energy, heart, and purpose — from heartfelt moments of reflection to a spirited dance-off with Canton High School that captured the camaraderie and joy of the day.
This year, Catholic Memorial raised an impressive $17,000 for the American Cancer Society, bringing the school’s lifetime fundraising total to more than $305,000 in support of breast cancer research and patient services.
Special recognition goes to the event’s top fundraisers:
-
Jack West ’27 – $1,642.39
-
Spencer Mollor ’29 – $1,714.88
-
Augie Davis ’28 – $1,549.51
-
Noah Russell ’30 – $1,105.50
-
John MacAulay ’28 – $1,069
-
Kyle Dolaher ’27 – $1,042.63
“That was one of the most fun Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks we’ve had in some time,” the program shared. “Most importantly, we raised $17,000, bringing our lifetime total to over $305,000. Thank you to everyone who donated and supported the Sea of Red.”
Through their continued efforts, Catholic Memorial’s student-athletes exemplify what it means to lead with service, spirit, and heart — showing that when athletes come together for a cause, their impact reaches far beyond the field.
