About:
The Concord-Carlisle Boys Hockey team, known as Team CC Puck, made a significant contribution during the Mighty Moose Race, honoring Jenna Swaim, the mother of their goaltender, Jason Swaim. With 22 runners and several volunteers, the team raised an impressive $3,935 to support ovarian cancer research.
The Mighty Moose Race is a key event in Concord-Carlisle’s Kicks for Cancer weekend, where nearly all fall sports teams come together to raise funds and awareness for cancer research. This school-wide effort unites both student-athletes and the community in the fight against cancer.
While Team CC Puck’s involvement is just one piece of a larger initiative, their dedication to honoring those affected by cancer and contributing to research is truly commendable. Their participation highlights the important role student-athletes play in making a difference both on and off the ice.
