About:
On September 30, the Fitchburg High School Girls Volleyball team took to the court in Ayer for a special Dig Pink night, joining the Panthers to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
The event combined athletic competition with a powerful cause, giving student-athletes, coaches, and fans the opportunity to come together and make a difference. From the first serve at 5:15 PM to the cheers in the stands, the Red & Gray demonstrated that sports can be a platform for community impact and meaningful outreach.
Events like Dig Pink highlight the leadership and dedication of student-athletes beyond the scoreboard. By using their platform to raise awareness and support for breast cancer research, Fitchburg High School continues to inspire both the community and future generations of athletes.
