About:
The Framingham High School Cheer Team once again showed the true meaning of community spirit and compassion through their annual Ellie Fund fundraiser, supporting families across Massachusetts who are battling breast cancer.
This year, the team designed and sold custom pink crewneck sweatshirts to raise awareness and funds for the cause. The initiative was met with overwhelming support from students, families, and the greater Framingham community, selling out completely for the second year in a row.
While the team is still finalizing their fundraising total, last year’s campaign raised over $10,000, and early results suggest this year’s total will surpass that number. Every dollar raised goes directly to the Ellie Fund, a Massachusetts-based nonprofit that provides essential support services — such as groceries, transportation, and childcare — to families facing breast cancer treatment.
Through creativity, dedication, and teamwork, the Framingham Cheer Team continues to make a powerful impact both on and off the sidelines, proving that leadership through service is at the heart of being a Flyer.
