About:
The Franklin High School Panthers Hockey team has been showcasing outstanding leadership and community spirit this season, making a positive impact both on and off the ice.
Several players have dedicated their time to coaching Franklin Youth Hockey teams, running two successful clinics to teach valuable skills and inspire the next generation of athletes. By sharing their knowledge and passion for the game, these players are helping to grow the sport they love while fostering a love for hockey among younger players.
The team’s commitment to their community doesn’t stop there. In recent weeks, the Panthers:
- Decorated Franklin’s town center and common for the holidays.
- Volunteered with Project Just, a food pantry serving families across Massachusetts.
- Placed wreaths on veterans’ graves in nearby Milford, honoring those who served.
This dedication to giving back demonstrates the Panthers’ incredible character and leadership off the ice. Their coaches couldn’t be prouder of the team’s efforts and impact.
Looking ahead, the Panthers are continuing their community involvement with a Hockey Fights Cancer weekend in January against their rival, Canton, further showing their commitment to causes that matter.
Thank you, Panthers, for being exceptional role models, giving back to your community, and showing us what true teamwork looks like—on the ice and beyond. You are shaping a brighter future for Franklin and inspiring those around you!
