For GD’s team each girl donated $5 each and the coach added an additional $100 totaling $215 raised.
Billerica was the host and they were asking for a $5 donation at the gate so many parents and friends of both teams contributed as well.
The girls raised awareness on Social media (Twitter and Facebook)
The team helped by donating and they used it as part of their “GD-Stronger Together” campaign to raise awareness for all forms of cancer.
“Austin”s Game” is for Austin Capone, a former player and coach for the Billerica HS program. The funds are to help with his battle
