About:
At Hanover High School, two student-athletes are stepping forward to make a meaningful difference in the lives of their peers.
Adriana Dalskeba and Abby Key recently introduced Morgan’s Message, a peer-support initiative focused on reducing the stigma surrounding student-athlete mental health. Inspired by the story behind the organization, the program is dedicated to creating open conversations and stronger support systems within athletic communities.
Through this initiative, Adriana and Abby are building a space where student-athletes can connect, share, and support one another. The group will meet monthly—on the first Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the gym—with Coach Bostwick serving as advisor.
Beyond meetings, the students have plans to lead discussions, host awareness events, and organize dedication games that bring attention to the importance of mental health in athletics. Their efforts will also include outreach initiatives aimed at expanding awareness and encouraging more athletes to get involved.
By taking the lead on this important cause, Adriana and Abby are helping to create a culture where student-athletes feel supported both on and off the field. Their work is a powerful example of peer leadership and the impact young people can have when they come together around a shared mission.
Hanover High School’s Morgan’s Message chapter is more than a club—it’s a movement toward understanding, connection, and care within the athletic community.
