On Thursday, May 2, the Holliston High School baseball team turned their game against Hopkinton into something much more than a contest on the field, it became a powerful example of using sports as a platform for good.
As part of ALS Night, the Panthers raised money and awareness to help Strike Out ALS, inviting fans, families, and community members to join in the effort. Items were available for purchase throughout the evening, and a 50/50 raffle added to the excitement. In true spirit, the winners earned the chance to dump ice buckets on Coach Anderson and Coach Santos after the game, a fitting nod to the legacy of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
