About:
The girls basketball program this year took a team trip down to Long Island, New York to play at a tournament at my (Coach) high school that I attended. Perhaps the best part of the trip though, was that we ran a free basketball clinic for kids and adults with special needs at Camp ANCHOR (Answering the Needs of Citizens with Handicaps through Organized Recreation), a camp that I used to volunteer and work at when I was in high school. There was no fundraising element to that, just simply a chance for us to use the game to provide opportunities for fun and learning for a wonderful group. https://www.campanchor.org
