About:
The field at Turf 1 became more than just a place for competition as the LS girls lacrosse team hosted a powerful Morgan’s Message Game Day.
Facing off against Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, the game served as an opportunity to bring the community together around an important cause—raising awareness for student-athlete mental health.
In partnership with Morgan’s Message, the event helped shine a light on the importance of mental well-being, encouraging athletes, coaches, and fans to have open and honest conversations. From the pre-game energy to the final whistle, the focus remained clear: supporting one another both on and off the field.
Inspired by the legacy of Morgan Rodgers, Morgan’s Message games continue to empower student-athletes to lead with compassion and break the stigma surrounding mental health in sports.
Through their leadership, the LS girls lacrosse team demonstrated how athletics can be a platform for change—bringing people together not just to compete, but to care.
