My name is Anthony Nalen and I am the head football coach at Lunenburg high school. Prior to the start of the season our football program received horrible news that Coach Bruce Smith had suddenly passed away. Coach Smith was a staple within the Lunenburg community and was a role model for our student-athletes. He devoted many years to both the High School and youth teams of Lunenburg. Most of our current players had played for him in some capacity. It was our goal to honor coach smith throughout this season. We did so by wearing his initials on the back of our helmets.
