About:
Under the lights at Lynnfield High School Football, Week 7 was about more than just football—it was about raising awareness, supporting one another, and reminding everyone that mental health matters.
During their matchup against Manchester Essex High School, the Pioneers hosted a Morgan’s Message Dedication Game, partnering with Morgan’s Message to raise awareness of student-athlete mental health.
More Than a Game
With kickoff set for 6:00 PM at Lynnfield High School, the energy of Friday night football was matched by a powerful purpose. The event focused on breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and encouraging open conversations within the athletic community.
Morgan’s Message, founded to honor the life and legacy of Morgan Rodgers, continues to inspire schools across the country to prioritize mental wellness—reminding athletes that they are more than their sport.
Human > Athlete
The message of the night was clear: Human > Athlete.
Through this dedication game, Lynnfield student-athletes helped reinforce that identity, emphasizing that mental health is just as important as physical performance. Events like this create safe spaces for athletes to speak up, support one another, and seek help when needed.
Leading with Purpose
Lynnfield Football continues to demonstrate leadership beyond the field—using one of the biggest stages in high school sports to drive meaningful change.
Because sometimes, the most important wins happen off the field.
