About:
We receive a list of between 10-12 houses, as well as the senior center, where we do a fall clean up of leaves and sticks.
This year we had 66 kids help out. We split into 5 groups and each group of kids spent about 3 hours cleaning the yards.
we don’t charge the families. This year we had 10 yards , plus the senior center. we had 3 families that recently lost a child due to cancer and 7 elderly families that are unable to do their yard work.
It is great and rewarding experience for our kids, helping families and giving back
