About:
The MC Cheer team recently launched Project Blackout at their Friday Night Lights kickoff event, uniting the community in support of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. The kickoff took place at 6 pm and was dedicated to honoring a brave young girl named Giovanna, who continues to inspire others with her strength and resilience. The cheerleaders donned black and gold, symbolizing the fight against pediatric cancer, and brought energy and spirit to the evening’s game.
The event wasn’t just about cheering on the field; it was a powerful show of solidarity for Giovanna and all the children who battle cancer today, tomorrow, and in the future. MC Cheer’s commitment to raising awareness and advocating for a cure resonated throughout the stadium, reminding everyone of the importance of coming together to support a meaningful cause.
With Project Blackout underway, the MC community looks forward to continuing its efforts to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer, showing that sports can indeed make a difference beyond the field.
