About:
During May, Mental Health Awareness Month, our Morgan’s Message Student Ambassadors hosted dedication games for each of our spring teams. These events aim to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health in athletics and promote equal treatment of mental and physical well-being.
On game day, athletes wore Morgan’s Message shirts, bracelets, and stickers during warm-ups to increase visibility. Chapter volunteers staffed information tables, collected donations, and read pre-game dedication scripts to further the message.
This year’s Varsity Baseball game featured a special dedication, with donations collected through the third inning to support our chapter. Boys Tennis also hosted a dedication match, emphasizing the importance of mental health.
The Boys Lacrosse team held its third annual Morgan’s Message game against Lynnfield, while the Girls Lacrosse team honored the cause during their matchup with Newburyport—both reinforcing the message of mental health support for all student-athletes.
Every effort helps remind students they are not alone and that their mental health matters.
