About:

The library is having its twice-a-year book sale this weekend. With a backlog of book donations through the pandemic, the Millis Library had a shed full of book donations (200 plus boxes of books) that needed to be moved across the library parking lot and arranged for the book sale this weekend. With a mostly older volunteer staff, this would have been a daunting task. These volunteers (6 Medfield students and football players and one Millis student) spent about an hour and a half loading the book boxes into a pickup truck and then unloading the boxes into the library. The time for this task would have easily doubled without their assistance, and as one book sale volunteer told the boys, “My back thanks you tremendously!”
