Some players give up their Saturdays and coach in the local youth programs! In addition, our players also volunteer at out Fall Ball Youth Clinic every year. Fall Ball is for grades K-5 and on 5 Saturday mornings at Medford High School. We usually start in late September/early October. Fall Ball is about 4 hours each Saturday.

“Most of the 3rd grade to 6th grade is coached by student athletes. We coach and some of us ref games if we need too. each game is 32 minutes. I like to be around basketball and it’s fun to coach with my friends.” Freshman Tyler Coffill.

“We coach the kids and make sure everyone gets a fair chance and they all learn something each game. We chose it so we can help new kids learn how to play basketball and because we all used to play in that same league.” Sophomore Ryan McFadden

“Most of us grew up playing in these leagues at St. Rays/St. Joes/St. Francis, so it’s cool to be able to give back to what raised us, and what helped us fall in love with the game.” – Senior Captain Sam Orcutt.
