The Melrose High School Boys Hockey program showed what true commitment looks like by starting their day with service, volunteering at Bread of Life to support individuals and families in need.
After an early 6:30 a.m. practice, players headed straight to Bread of Life, where they helped organize and deliver food throughout the Malden community. The effort reflected the team’s dedication not only to their sport, but also to helping others — even during the busy holiday season.
The hands-on experience gave student-athletes an opportunity to see the impact of service firsthand, reinforcing values of responsibility, compassion, and teamwork beyond the rink. With guidance from their coaching staff, the players proudly represented Melrose High School through meaningful action.
By stepping up early and giving back together, Melrose Boys Hockey continues to demonstrate that leadership is built through service — and that the strongest teams make a difference both on and off the ice.
