On the morning of October 13th, the Melrose High School (MHS) girls and boys soccer teams joined together for a meaningful cause, participating in the Breast Friends Walk around Marblehead Neck. This event was in support of the MGH Breast Cancer Clinic and part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
With great unity and spirit, the players walked in honor of Beth Lucien, the mother of a former teammate, making the day even more special. Their participation reflects the strong sense of community and compassion that defines both the MHS soccer teams and their commitment to supporting those affected by breast cancer.
This walk not only raised awareness but also served as a powerful reminder of the importance of standing together in the fight against breast cancer. Kudos to the MHS soccer teams for their dedication on and off the field!
