The Boys Hockey team recognized our Military and First Responders with the 7th annual Military and First Responder Appreciation Game. (Shout out to former assistant coach Brian Horan for starting it and our Methuen High School Hockey Parent Association and Head Coach Bill Blackwell for continuing it)
Prior to the game they welcomed members of the Methuen Fire, Methuen Police, Local Veterans, the Lawrence Vietnam Memorial and retired veterans of our hockey families to the ice to be recognized.
The Chief of Police and Fire took part in a ceremonial puck drop at center ice.
They were joined by City Council Ronald Marsan and Principal Richard Barden.
Members of the Methuen Fire and Police Unions along with Bada Bing Pizza in Methuen donated money towards the First Responder and Military Uniforms.
