A few of the players brought some of their own yard tools (rakes, baskets, leaf blowers, etc.) and they went to work on yards. They cleaned up leaves, sticks, and did pretty much anything to clean up someone’s yard. Beforehand, one of the Captains made a sign up sheet and brought it down to the Millbury Senior Center. They were able to get addresses of seniors that needed some outdoor help.
With Veterans Day, they wanted to do something to give back to the senior community and do it as a team. Plus, working outside was a bonus given the indoor restrictions/guidelines still in place. But the main cause was to give back to the community that has supported us so much.
