On April 28th, the DR Girls Lacrosse team hosted the BR Girls Lacrosse team for their Third Annual Morgan’s Message Dedication Game—a heartfelt event focused on raising awareness about mental health among student-athletes.
The game was more than just a competition; it was a powerful reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health. Both teams came together not only to play hard on the field but also to foster a supportive community where open conversations about mental wellness are encouraged.
With a schedule that included the JV game at 4:00 pm and the varsity game at 5:30 pm, the event drew players, coaches, families, and fans who shared in the mission to break down stigma and support each other through life’s challenges.
The Morgan’s Message initiative continues to inspire student-athletes to lead with compassion and courage, using their voices and actions to make a positive impact both on and off the field.
