About:
Throughout October, the Nashoba Regional High School athletic community came together to “Go Pink” in support of breast cancer awareness — showing how the power of sport can unite athletes, coaches, and fans for a meaningful cause.
Both the boys’ soccer and girls’ volleyball teams joined forces to host their annual Pink Games, inspiring compassion, teamwork, and leadership across campus. These events served as powerful reminders of how athletics can drive positive change, both on and off the field.
On October 9th, the boys’ soccer team faced North Middlesex during their Pink Night game, collecting donations for the Ellie Fund, which supports breast cancer patients and their families. That same evening, the girls’ volleyball teamhosted Hudson for their Dig Pink match, raising funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
The following weekend, on October 11th, the girls’ soccer team took on Wayland during their Pink Day, collecting donations for The Healing Garden.
To round out a month full of impact, the field hockey team hosted Grafton on October 15th for their Pink Game, which was coordinated with Youth Night. The middle school, JV, and varsity teams all participated, with proceeds benefiting the Pink Revolution of Clinton.
Together, these teams showed the true meaning of community — using their platform in athletics to raise awareness, support vital causes, and honor those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.
