About:
Margot and Maddie are part of Project 351 and the group does a 9/11 service project each year. The girls wanted to do a rock garden and honor the victims of 9/11 and help bring the school together. There was a name of each victim of MA on the rocks.
Our students created 190 rocks for the garden. Students had the opportunity to go to the library during study hall to decorate a rock.
They hope the rock garden, which is displayed at our high school main entrance will help raise awareness by seeing the rocks with the victims names and help bring our school community together.
Margot and Maddie planned the project for approximately 2 weeks planning and they felt it was at least 10 hours of prep time and then approximately 5 hours to complete the project.
