About:

One of the great things about the Kicks for Cancer Event is that, for the most part, it is teams that have long standing rivalries playing each other. In our case, that’s Brookline. Each year one of us gives up a home game to take part in the event. Not playing your rival at home can be a disadvantage and disappointing. However, playing and participating in an event that year in and year out raises 100k plus helps drive home the point that we are giving up something special and sacred, a home game, to help those who need help.
Last year was the first time we did the Car Wash to help raise funds. It was a great way for the team to bond, and enjoy one another’s company while helping the efforts of Kicks for Cancer.
