Our varsity volleyball team has 14 players and their coach is Lucas Coffeen.
“Every now and then we get a chance to support someone on our team and contribute to something bigger than our sport. This Saturday Newton South Volleyball Varsity team is walking to support our teammate Sasha Vorobyov and to raise awareness for type 1 diabetes. We’re primarily interested in supporting our teammate and raising awareness for Type 1 Diabetes. Advances in diabetes care have come a long way over the past 20 years, but there is still much more progress to be made.”
