About:
The Nipmuc chapter of the Active Minds Organization collaborates closely with the Kyle Cares Foundation. Last spring, our boys lacrosse team initiated this partnership. This fall, we expanded our collaboration by having Kyle Cares join forces with our league, the Dual Valley Conference. Together, we organized a league-wide leadership summit, with a primary focus on raising awareness about mental health.
Following these efforts, Nipmuc students established a chapter of the Active Minds Foundation. This chapter prioritizes the student voice in shedding light on mental health awareness among teenagers.
On April 4th, our student athletes had the privilege of participating in the KyleCares Teen Mental Health Summit.
