About:
Tatum Loftus and Fallon Lozano are leading an inspiring initiative to honor those affected by mental health challenges. Through a series of dedication games inspired by Morgan’s Message, they are creating opportunities to raise awareness and foster conversations about mental well-being.
The dedication games have sparked meaningful discussions within teams and the broader school community, highlighting the importance of mental health. Building on this foundation, the program has expanded to include sessions where athletes and teams meet with the school’s sports psychologist. These meetings focus on addressing mental health, teaching resilience strategies, and promoting mental focus as part of a holistic approach to physical training. Additionally, a team bonding component has been introduced to strengthen connections and support among athletes.
This outreach extends beyond games and workshops. By engaging athletic teams, hosting awareness events, and collaborating with local mental health professionals, the program is fostering a culture that prioritizes both mental and physical health equally. The positive response from the community has been overwhelming, showcasing the program’s impact.
Tatum Loftus and Fallon Lozano dedicate a combined 5-10 hours each week to this initiative. Their efforts include collaborating with the school’s sports psychologist via Zoom, organizing dedication games, and brainstorming topics that resonate most with student-athletes. They also work closely with the athletic director to ensure seamless alignment and execution of their vision. Their leadership continues to inspire and drive this impactful work forward.
