About:
On Saturday, the North Andover field hockey team teamed up with Concord Carlisle for their annual Kicks for Cancer event, a meaningful day dedicated to raising awareness and funds for women’s cancer research. This tradition, which began in 2007, has continuously brought communities together to support a cause that impacts so many lives. Over the years, the Concord Carlisle community has raised over $2 million dollars for cancer research, making a significant impact in the fight against women’s cancers.
During the event, both North Andover and Concord Carlisle players wore jerseys honoring family members and friends affected by cancer. It was a moving display of unity and remembrance, as players from both teams came together for the common goal of supporting cancer research and raising awareness.
The Kicks for Cancer event remains a powerful tradition, showcasing the strength of community and the ability of sports to make a lasting difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
