Every year, our field hockey program teams up with our Facilities Department for a community service day. They take the day off from practice and tackle a to-do list given to them.
Our Facilities Department appreciates all the help they can get, and quite honestly – field hockey is arguably our best program because of things like this. This is a credit to our Coach – who’s philosophy of what happens off the field is prioritized and viewed to be just as important as to what takes place on the field.
There were 40 girls involved over the course of 2 hours after school.
They do this multiple times per year and are often taking time after their practices to collect trash in and around our turf field stadium.
