The North Reading Girls Lacrosse team recently made an impact off the field by helping with the NRYouthLAX clinic, inspiring the next generation of players. On the clinic’s first day, there was an abundance of energy, smiles, and hard work. The second day of the clinic saw even more growth and improvement, proving just how much the young players are learning in such a short amount of time.
Many of the high school players who volunteered at the clinic are former participants in the same youth program and remember attending similar clinics when they were younger. This experience was an opportunity for them to give back to the community and pass on the knowledge and skills that were once shared with them. Whether it was helping with registration, organizing drills, or managing logistics, these student-athletes were eager to contribute to the success of the event.
While not all current players could participate due to other commitments, the clinic’s success is a reminder of the strong tradition of support and mentorship that exists within the North Reading Girls Lacrosse community. With another clinic planned before the spring season, there’s sure to be even more opportunities for future Hornets to receive guidance from those who have walked the path before them.
