About:
The Northbridge High School Baseball team gave back to their community in a big way this past weekend by volunteering at the Northbridge Youth Baseball League’s 2nd annual Fall Fest Hit-A-Thon on Saturday, October 5th. Community service is a core value of the team’s culture, and the players embodied that by dedicating their time and energy to support this fun-filled event.
The varsity baseball players, along with the Assumption University baseball team, donned their game uniforms to serve as role models for the youth participants. They encouraged the kids during the Hit-A-Thon, helped shag balls, and assisted with cleanup after the event. Their efforts demonstrated a commitment not only to being strong athletes but also responsible and engaged community members.
As a team that grew up building their foundation in the same youth baseball program, it was important for the Northbridge boys to give back to the program that helped them develop their love for the game.
The Northbridge High School Baseball team made a meaningful impact, setting a strong example for future Rams through their dedication to giving back and supporting their community.
