About:
The Notre Dame Academy Girls’ Basketball team used game night as a moment of unity and compassion, wearing shooting shirts in honor of Brian Ferris.
Ferris, a highly respected official in both the basketball and lacrosse communities, recently suffered a serious fall that resulted in a significant spinal cord injury. The team’s gesture served as a visible show of support for a friend who has given so much to the game.
By rallying around the message of helping Brian “stack good days,” NDA student-athletes reminded everyone that sports are about more than competition—they’re about standing together, showing empathy, and supporting one another through life’s toughest moments.
