About:

The Jodi’s Journey Scholarship Fund was created in memory of one of our board members who died on October 14th of this year from a hard fought and courageous battle with cancer . She was also the mom of a current senior cheerleader and current sophomore football player.  Jodi was the light of her community in Carver, MA. She was a well-known and well-loved dance teacher, a special education educator in the Plymouth North school district, and very philanthropic herself.  Every year she organized a holiday toy drive and she was constantly looking for ways to help families and young children.  She will be greatly missed.
The program that we are supporting at tonight’s game is a scholarship; “The Jodi’s Journey Scholarship Fund” was created by her family in her memory.  The proceeds of the scholarship, each year, will go to 1 graduating senior at Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School and 1 graduating senior at Carver High School.  We are kicking off the fundraising at tonight’s football game and will continue to promote it on-going as an organization.
