About:
Our student-athletes came to school (the day before students started) to greet our teachers and welcome them back! We lined the main entrance of the building and held up signs that had various statements such as you are appreciated, thank you for all you do, welcome back, middie pride, you rock, and we love our teachers!
Our student-athletes clapped and cheered as each teacher entered! The feedback from the staff was positive, and it made for an exciting morning!
In addition, athletics hosted the back to school faculty luncheon that afternoon too. Student-athletes and their families made donations to the luncheon. It was a great first day back for our staff!
